Some thoughts about our  flowers: One question we hear all the time is where do your flowers come from? And as the old saying goes the answer is, well that depends. I suppose it is the nature of our times that we all take more interest in the source of everything we buy from food to flowers. With advances in so many technologies, from refrigeration to transportation flowers are grown and enjoyed across the world. What does this mean to the flower buyer today? There is an unprecedented variety of flowers available today.

We'd like you to rely on us to find conscientious quality growers who produce the finest seasonal flowers. A big part of what we do everyday is search for and purchase fresh cut flowers. We look for the best seasonal flowers from as many local growers as our climate and latitude will allow. Over the years we've come to know a few folks passionate about growing flowers and we look forward to each season that brings with it their flowers. We'll begin sharing their stories in the coming months.

Some thoughts about our plants: The best looking plants don't occur by accident. They are the result of happy conclusions to many events. From the root stock selected to the greenhouse conditions any number of myriad events some planned and others unforseen all contribute to the perfect plant. There is nothing quite like the abundant begonia in summer, the perfectly balanced  poinsettia in December or the lush hydrangea in May.

My dad decided years ago that the best way to ensure we sell and you get the best possible plants is to walk the growers greenhouse benches himself. It is a simple approach that has served us well for nearly thirty years. With a practiced eye, years of experience, and a desire to discover the best we select each blooming and green plant we sell. We know you'll see the difference.
